For allegedly plugging products on Twitter Lily Allen and Liz Hurley could be investigated.
The star have broken Office of Fair Trading rules if they endorsed products for cash without declaring an interest.
References to PlayStation and Grey Goose vodka had been made by Lily Allen.
A spokeswoman for Lily said: “We wouldn’t comment on whether it was part of a deal. It’s nobody’s business.”
If guidelines are breached the Office of Fair Trading has the power to prosecute.
