It could be time for Lily Allen to have a spin on Top Gear after the retired pop star showed off her new wheels in a car park with mates.The ‘girl racer’ posted a video of herself to Twitter performing stunts in her lean, mean, green machine... a Ford Focus RS.
Pushing her motor to the limit, she is seen throwing the car into a screeching ‘j-turn’.
The 24-year-old then jumps in the back seat to let her two chums, Paul and Crispin, have a go.
She squeals with delight as Crispin performs a ‘180’ skid – before reprimanding her friend for not wearing a seat belt. ‘Crispin! Seat belt, you oaf,’ she screams.
But paparazzi-loathing Allen hasn’t done herself any favours by choosing a very recognisable bright green model.
And her Twitter followers seemed a little disappointed by the choice, which costs about £25,000.
‘I thought you were getting a landrover???? this isn’t gonna get you away from the papps, but still a cool car kind of a down grade from a BMW though ;)’ one pal wrote.
